A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and member of the 2015 PDP Presidential campaign council, Alhaji Abdullahi Ali Kano, has asked factional national chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, to return to where he came from.
Alhaji Kano, who spoke Monday, said it was clear that the odds do not in any way favour the former Borno State governor. “All the party machinery, including the founding fathers, Board of Trustees (BOT), National Working Committee (NWC), along with the Women and Youth groups are not with him,” he said.
“No imposition in democracy; an individual cannot willy-nilly impose his whimsicalities on the majority,” he added.
Ali Kano advised the Sheriff to utilise his time, energy and resources in worthwhile ventures, “instead of running from one court to another seeking to cause confusion in the party.”
