Plateau PDP to rebuild and reconstruct party in 2019
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has been assured of rebuilding and restructuring the party to claim what it described as ‘stolen mandate’ from the APC come 2019 poll.
Speaking to newsmen in Jos, on Friday, Hon. Philip Asanato Adik, who flagged-off its campaign for the position of the PDP chairmanship Youth Alliance, promised to rebuild the lost glory of the state. He is to run for the position of PDP chairmanship in the state chapter.
Hon Adik said, “The cardinal issue is to show transparency that will bring, regroup and bring back all those who left the party as a result lack of internal democracy in the state.”
He said, whoever that is qualified should be allowed to represent his people and should be giving the opportunity and equity to display his campaign philosophy.
According to him, the practice of imposition of candidates on the people, which has been the problem of the past should not be allowed, and promised to tackle the challenges of god-fatherism in the state.
He observed that, credibility was out of the question here in the state, resulting to some people leaving the party because of the attitude and bad leadership, and promised that he will carry the youths along.
