Kano Murder Victim’s Husband Opens Up: “My Wife Was Stoned to Death”
Husband to the late female trader, Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme, who was killed in Kano recently, for alleged blasphemy, has debunked earlier claims that the woman was beheaded.
Speaking with AIT, the deceased’s husband revealed that after his wife was ambushed by the extremists, she was pelted with stones until she died, before the security authorities arrived. “She was not beheaded, except they went to the hospital to bring her out and behead her.”
Agbaheme disclosed that he had been in company of his wife through his prime life. “I have lived with my family for 42 years in Kano,” also noting that his wife, until her death, was a Deeper Life Church member.
It would be recalled that Bridget was attacked by religious fanatics at Kofar Wambai Market in the city of Kano after she allegedly told Muslims ‘not to perform abolition here.’
