Buhari’s Wife Donates Trailer-loads Of Food Items To Kaduna Residents
Wife of President Mohammadu Buhari has donated two trailer-loads of food items to Kaduna State government for onward distribution to its residents. This is aimed at cushioning the effect of the prevalent economic hardship on Nigerians.
The president’s wife, who was represented by the Zonal Coordinator of Buhari Support Group, Hajiya Binta Mua’azu, while assuring Nigerians of better days ahead, said the donation was to assist the people, especially with the economic hardship the country is facing, and also in the ‘spirit of Ramadan.’
According to her, she feels the pains Nigerians are passing through, noting that things will get better soon. She also urged the Muslim faithful to use the Ramadan period to pray for Nigerians and the peace of the country.
The First Lady also said, the items were meant to be shared among both Christians and Muslims across the three senatorial zones of the state.
While receiving the items, wife of the Kaduna state governor, Hajiya Hadiza El-Rufai, thanked the President’s wife for the kind gesture and prayed for God’s blessings on the administration; noting also that the items would be distributed accordingly. Items donated include cartons of Macaroni, Spaghetti, 5kg bags of Semolina and Wheat.
