British/Nigerian Air Force End 3-Weeks Military Training Next Week
Determined to ensure effective defense of the airfield and eventual protection of critical assets, British Military Advisory Trading Team has scheduled 25-28 January next week as date to round off the three weeks-long Capacity Building Training Exercise for Nigerian Air Force Regiment Personnel in Kaduna International Airport.
A statement issued and signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Squadron Leader, Chris Erondu, on behalf of the Headquarters Training Command, Nigerian Air Force, Kaduna, stated that, the field training exercise between the two countries would feature the movement of armed troops and the use of local roads within and around the Kaduna International Airport among others.
The statement added that, “Consequently, the general public is advised to go about their normal business activities and not to panic at sighting the movements of armed troops within and around the international airport during the exercise.”
The release tagged, “British Military Advisory Training Team and Nigeria Air Force Training Exercise” advised those leaving within the area to do their legitimate businesses in the area and not to panic.
