APC Government’s 1-Year Anniversary: An Opinion Poll
A PDP stalwart has observed that, the one year of the APC-led government has not done much to change the situation of Nigerians from where it was before the new regime took over the mantle of leadership.
Making the observation, while speaking to journalists in Jos, Saturday, a PDP chieftain, Mr Alexander Mulwus, at the one-year Democracy Day celebration, said that, since the assumption of the Muhammadu Buhari regime, it has been either the blame game or corruption fight, which has yielded no positive result like putting food on the masses’ tables.
Mr Mulwus further stated that Nigerians are suffering from scarcity of fuel, employment and food, even when the government came in with the attitude of ‘redemption change.’ He called on the federal government to do something proactive to cushion the pain and suffering of the masses in the country.
Mulwus, who was former Special Adviser (SA) to then Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang, on Political Affairs, reiterated that, “The people of Nigeria are complaining rather than celebrating Buhari’s administration; so, this one year in office has produced nothing to celebrate about.”
According to him, the APC-led government came in without any economic blue print, and so could not achieve anything tangible in its one year in office.
